You can experience the joys of Denmark on foot, by bike or by car, and stay overnight at the many cosy Danish farms en route. Staying at one of the farms provides an insight into everyday life in the country, but it is advisable to book in advance.

General Information
Stævnegaarden is an old family farm beautifully situated in the village of Flødstrup, near the church, the village pond and the woods. The farm has been in our family’s possession since 1795.
We have a lovely flower garden, where you can relax in the shade of our big copper beech or in our tea pavilion. Children can play in the play house, climb the tree, swing and pet the rabbit, the cat and our lovely Labrador “Jessie”. At night the family can gather round the bonfire and chat with the other guests.
You are welcome to use our barbeque, and please feel free to use the vegetables from our garden for your dinner.
You can also amuse yourselves with a game of “crolf” in our garden. Crolf is a fun game, which is a mixture between croquet and golf.
Explore the surrounding country on foot or by bicycle along attractive country lanes. We have bicycles that you can borrow for free.
We make home-brewed beer and smoked cheese from ancient recipes.
Stævnegaarden has sleeping accommodation for a total of 16 people, which makes it well suited for get-togethers with family and friends.
