By Boegebjerd strand on Hindsholm, and 10km north of Kerteminde town, you will find a cosy and comfortable restaurant in The Bjoernegaarden Country Hotel. The hotel itself is an old original four-winged farm. The kitchen is run by the chef Anders Olsen, and is based on exquisite local products and the actual season’s crops. Some examples of what is served here would be, ecological pigs of outdoor breed from Martofte, Angus calves from Brockdorff, fresh fish from the Storebaelt, as well as vegetables and berries from Bjoernegaarden’s own gardens.
The menus vary with the seasons, and it can be said, they vary with Chef Anders Olsen’s mood and inspiration, as well. There are usually choices between a couple of starters, two till three main courses, one or two desserts, and cheeses. The price level for a two course menu is about kr300.

Parties of from 10 to 50 persons are welcome. Bjoernegaardens restaurant is also used as a music venue, there is at least once a month the arrangement, ``Jazz on Hindsholm´´.
