In my abstract oil paintings – painted on linen or handmade paper, I use several different down to earth materials, pigments, concrete, tar and metals, such as copper, gold leaf and aluminium.
Precisely the tar and the metal does that the painting are en a constant transformation. At the end the art of works is treated with several layers of varnish and oil paint. Which, controlled by the humidity and temperature, creates unique cracks. Liberating out of control.
Art is a constant challenge.
